Campion Coleman

Instructor

Campion "Camp" Coleman has been diving since 1991. He started quiet by accident, he found Bob Wills's card on his father's desk and was unable to resist fulfilling a childhood dream - Learning to Scuba Dive. Without any further hesitation he signed up for SCUBA classes. From his first breath off a regulator to completion of his Open Water Certification at Big Pine Key, Florida, he was hooked. Camp dove whenever he got the chance, because he believed it kept his diving skills current and in the process he moved up the PADI system becoming an instructor in 1994. When not teaching, you might find Camp heading to Ocean City or North Carolina for some wreck diving, or leading a trip to Big Pine Key. In July, Camp spent a week diving the Spanish Galleon, "Atocha". He brought back memories of diving a "treasure ship" and a couple of "Atocha" ballast stones. Camp shares his passion for diving with his Sharon and, three year old, daughter Kailynn. He has already started Kailynn's training by teaching her that SCUBA gear is off limits to non-certified persons. When not diving, Camp helps his parents run Coleman Homes.
